Experience the world premiere of “Rock Dove” by Cat Kidd & Jack Biswell, a legendary poetry/soundscape duo. Their unique blend, born in Montreal’s ’90s cabarets, has captivated audiences globally. From their debut cassette, to acclaimed cd/books, their return to Montreal is highly anticipated.
Opening, Kim Zombik, a transformative poet/vocalist, will perform. Evolving from Black Classical Music interpretations, her original work blends vulnerability with raw power. Collaborating with icons like William Parker, and touring as Billie Holiday, Kim’s performance promises to be moving. Her poetry, featured in “Dreams Before Extinction,” highlights her singular voice.
