We Love Senior Dogs: A Reading & Fundraiser for Gerdy’s Rescues
A reading & social event to raise money for GERDY’S RESCUES, a Montreal-based nonprofit that rescues dogs that have been abandoned, pays for their surgeries & stuff & finds loving homes for them.

–> JAKE BYRNE (@jakebyrnewrites) is a poet & the editor-in-chief of Soliloquies Anthology. He had a husky-mutt named Oscar as a kid, plus another dog who somehow gave birth to 17 puppies.
–> SRUTI ISLAM (@weirdera) is a journalist, writer & performer. Her Twitter account includes a great photo of award-winning author Zadie Smith cuddling with a small dog.
–> THOMAS MOLANDER (@thomasmolander) is a writer & the co-editor of Bad Nudes Magazine. His mom & brother were allergic to dogs when he was a kid, but for one week his family had a black lab named Lucy.
