The Words & Music Show: Season’s First Show with Brendan McLeod
Casa del Popolo, 4873 Boulevard Saint-Laurent

“It’s our first fine show of 2019 and to celebrate we have brought spoken word star Brendan McLeod to town for a rare appearance.
McLeod is a star performer in many guises, touring sold out one-man shows on the Fringe circuit, performing with the band the Fugitives, and performing and winning in slam shows across the country.
Joining him on the bill is Jason (Blackbird) Selman and his always deep poetry and music. And in an unusual mix you can catch Aaron Finbloom and friends in their Conversation Choir. A founder of the School of Making Thinking, Aaron always surprises.
Wordsmith Wolfe Girardin will be there with music accompaniment, and to complete or maybe start the night Natalia Yanchak will present one of her takes on future worlds. A vocalist for the band The Dears, Natalia is focusing on fiction now and we’ll get to hear what she brings.
Hosting is Ian Ferrier who may even bring a taste of the new work that will happen in his upcoming show at Atwater Library. “
