“Poetry Night @ Kafein is a space dedicated to sharing the work of poets / writers of all ages, sizes, skill levels, skin colours and sexual / gender orientations. By distributing the donations collected back to the poets, Poetry Night provides the opportunity for artists to be paid for their time and effort. Inclusivity is the foundation of this event and open dialogue between poets and audience members is strongly encouraged whether it is complimentary, inquisitive, or to voice an opinion. Fostering a supportive, mindful community is essential to the integrity of our event.”
