An occasional poem is a poem people turn to—a poem that is shared.In anticipation for the launch of the Coach House anthology On Occasion: Poems for the People, edited by Sina Queyras, Writers Read will host a celebration of occasional poetry on Friday March 20 at 7:30PM at York Amphitheatre (EV 1.605), featuring readings by a slate of Montreal-based talent: Stephanie Bolster, T. Liem, Ethel Meilleur, Misha Solomon, Chanel Sutherland, Lena Palacios, Sabyah Seyam, and Sina Queyras. Advance copies of the anthology will be available for purchase.
