A special and unique event around Oana Avasilichioaei’s and Klara du Plessis’s expansive projects, Chambersonic and Post-Mortem of the Event. This day-long event features an ongoing listening session to sound installations on display at OBORO and a culminating live performance in the evening. Stop by to listen and experience the works, chat with the artists, and purchase books. Celebratory drinks will be served after the performance.

Chambersonic: Episodes for an Absent Film (2021-23) by Oana Avasilichioaei, 8-channel sound installation (27:30 min)

Dead Air (Post-Mortem of the Event) (2023-24) by Klara du Plessis, a moving image and voiced poetry installation for two screens (15:07 min and 2:06)

Oana Avasilichioaei performs Chambersonic : Improbable Theatres and Chambersonic : Electroechoes (voice, electronics, various types of mics, objects, 25 min)
