The Montreal Review of Books is thrilled to invite you to our first in-person event in over a year: the launch of our summer issue!

Christopher DiRaddo, Cora Siré, and Jessi MacEachern, moderated by Robyn Fadden.

At Le Dépanneur Café, 206 Rue Bernard O.

Full info here and excerpted below.

“Christopher DiRaddo’s The Family Way and Jessi MacEachern’s A Number of Stunning Attacks are available for purchase across the street at Librairie Drawn & Quarterly, 211 rue Bernard West. We recommend picking up copies prior to your arrival (they are open until 6 pm).

Cora Siré’s Not in Vain You’ve Sent Me Light is available for purchase online here: https://www.guernicaeditions.com/title/9781771836111, and is currently in stock at Argo Bookshop, 1915 rue Sainte-Catherine West, Librairie Bertrand, 430 rue Saint-Pierre, and Librairie Clio in Plaza Pointe-Claire at 261 boul. Saint-Jean. Quantities are limited, we recommend calling ahead.

In accordance with local health guidelines, guests will be required to sign-in and wash their hands upon arrival, and wear a mask indoors. The capacity of the terrasse is limited — first come, first served. In case of rain, readings would take place in the front room of the café, which has large windows providing ample air circulation. We look forward to seeing you on July 8th!”
