“Poets will read new or existing works that offer a female or feminist perspective on the world as they experience it. What is womanhood to you? Why is it important for women to reimagine and revision?

How do we, as women, begin to revision histories, stories and myths that have footnoted our perspectives?

Words from Her Side is an event created in connection with the feminist Montreal theatre company, Imago Theatre as a part of their Her Side of the Story: Revision to Resist festival which looks at women who revision known narratives to reclaim Her Side of the Story from the footnotes. The festival takes place from October 31-Nov. 5 at Centaur Theatre.”
