VALLUM 17:1 “HOME” ONLINE LAUNCH!
In light of the current global crisis and to ensure the health and safety of all of our communities as best as we can, it is with sadness we’ve cancelled the launches of Vallum 17:1 “Home” in both Toronto and Montreal, BUT in considering other ways to celebrate the forthcoming release of the Vallum 17:1 “Home” we’ve decided to host a Facebook “Watch Party”. Contributors to Vallum 17:1 “Home” will read their poems from home as an online experience! We’ve never done this before, so it will be an experiment for us, but it would be a nice way for all of us to connect and celebrate poetry in our respective homes.
Since many of us had already blocked off April 24th, which was the date of our Toronto launch, we’ve planned the online launch for the same date and time. Please tune in April 24th at 6:30pm to hear contributors to Vallum 17:1 “Home” read their poems! You’ll have a chance to comment and ask questions as though there!
We’ll post the link to the Facebook Watch Party in the next couple weeks, which will allow you to set a reminder!
